THE INTERNAL FACTORS AFFECTING FIRM VALUE IN FOOD AND BEVERAGES SUBSECTOR ON INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE

The objective of this study is to study the relationship between financial ratios and firm value, measured by price-to-book ratio. This study also identifies and classifies the impact of financial ratios on the value of the company itself. This research can also help businesses maintain operational efficiency and ensure future sustainability. Data for this study were taken from the financial statements of companies in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2014 to 2022. The data used in this research is time series-cross section data from 9 years of research to produce more accurate results. This study discusses some financial ratios can influence the measurement of the value of a business by using multiple linear regression analysis from Eviews 12. There are 3 ratios that affect the value of the company: return on equity, total asset turnover and firm size, while there are 2 ratios that have no influence, namely debt to equity and current ratio.
